Verplas Thermal Rectangular Plenum

Verplas Thermal 45o Bend

Verplas Thermal Round Pipe

Verplas Thermal Round Pipe

Self-Seal Thermal pipe complete with 1 click and lock duct to duct fitting Product Part Number 1 meter Thermal Pipe - SST-125-1M 1 meter Thermal Pipe - SST-160-1M-IND Description Please note that any small orders below 20 meters may only be supplied in one meter lengths (excluding complete orders over £500) The Verplas Self-Seal Thermal is manufactured from Neopor Reg; graphite impregnated expanded polystyrene (EPS) with infrared absorbers and reflectors which significantly improve the thermal resistance of the material compared with standard EPS. The Neopor ® material is fully tested to meet the thermal conductivity requirements of BASF – EN13163 to assist with the prevention of condensation and is Flame Retardant to DIN 4102 B1. Verplas Thermal Ducting has a minimum Density of 25 kg/m³ and therefore achieves a Thermal Conductivity of 0.03 W/mK, which at 20mm thickness, provides a minimum Thermal Resistance or R value of 0.666 m²K/W. This exceeds the current UK Domestic Ventilation Regulation requirements of Part F 2010 Domestic Ventilation Compliance Guide and NHBC Guidance Document Chapter 3.2 which states that the Thermal Resistance of the insulating material should be equivalent to a minimum 25mm of insulating material with a thermal conductivity of 0.04 W/mK which gives a minimum Thermal Resistance requirement of 0.625 m²K/W.EPP Please note that this pipe can be damaged if stood on or heavy weight is applied. Available Sizes 125mm 160mm

125mm PVC Self Seal Connector Duct to Duct

125mm PVC Self Seal Connector Duct to Duct

125mm PVC Self Seal Connector Duct to Duct Product Part Number 125mm duct to duct connector - VSSC125PP Description Our range of plastic ducting is UK manufactured with top quality materials that will supply a durable product suitable for domestic and commercial systems It is perfectly suited for ducting your Ventilation system, Kitchen extractor fan, bathroom fan or In-Line Extract Fans It can be used as a part of a long ductwork run for a variety of purposes including whole house ventilation, passive stack vent, positive input, air conditioning, HVAC, and Heat Recovery Systems KEY FEATURES: UK Manufactured Pipe ends are female and will accept male fittings such as bends and grilles Lengths of duct channel can be joined together using a male connector Easy to install and durable, just push-fit duct and fittings together Compatible with most other manufactures Extensive range of fittings, outlets, and grilles available Max / Min Temperature: +60c / -15c DW/154 and meets UL94HB Flammability standard Suitable to use in compliance with Part F Building Regulations Sap Appendix Q Compliant Airflow performance independently tested by BSRIA or BRE Performance Solid Rigid ducting systems are suitable for use in all buildings to provide superior airflow performance vs. comparative size rectangular or flexible pvc or Aluminium duct. Suitable to use in compliance with Part F Building Regulations. Insulation of Ductwork It is important that any ducting located in a cold area (e.g. loft space) to be insulated. The insulation needs to be the equivalent of 25mm thick and have a thermal conductivity of 0.04W/(m.k) or less. This ensures that condensation doesn’t form due to the difference in air temperature inside the duct when compared to the air temperature in the cold space.

This ensures that condensation doesn’t form due to the difference in air temperature inside the duct when compared to the air temperature in the cold space. If you don’t have a loft space there is still a need for insulated ducting on the intake and exhaust legs, as they will be carrying cold air in a warm space. The level of insulation can be achieved by wrapping PVC duct in a layer of 25mm duct wrap that has a silver foil face on a 25mm rockwool It is also worth noting that foil wrap with air bubbles (bubble wrap) is no longer applicable in building control regulations
