Vesda-E VEA VSP-990-330 6mm Microbore Tube UL-compliant Plenum-rated 330ft

Vesda-E VEA VSP-990-330 6mm Microbore Tube UL-compliant Plenum-rated 330ftVESDA-E VEA microbore tubes are custom made high quality plenum rated flame retardant polyethylene tubes. They have superior stress crack resistance for reliable long-term performance. They are lightweight and flexible for easy handling and installation and marked with a white ink numbering system over the full length of the tubing. The numbering system includes individual unique identification of each tube and distance marking at regular intervals making them very efficient to install and keep clean installationrecords. These tubes come in black colour with red stripes for use in smoke detection and meet requirements of global installation codes. These tubes have no active components and they eliminate the need for any electrical wiring for smoke detection resulting in fast and easy installation without the need to follow electrical codes. It is important to use VESDA-E VEA microbore tubes with the VESDA-E VEA detectors to maintain their smoke detection performance. These tubes come in two different diameters 6mm and 4mm.VEA micrbore tube fittings comprise of straight unions and other types of joiners and 6mm to 4mm adaptors for easy installations blanking plugs are used to block the unused ports on VEA.Key FeaturesPlenum ratedFlame retardantHigh quality polyethylene materialStress crack resistantUnique IDDistance marking at regular intervalsMeets requirements of global installation codesListings ApprovalsUL 1820NFPA 90AEN 54-202006 clause 5.7BS EN 61386-12007 clauses 10.2 10.3 and 12.2

Vesda Xtralis OSI-10 Open-area Smoke Imaging Detector - 7 Coverage

Vesda Xtralis OSI-10 Open-area Smoke Imaging Detector - 7 Coverage

Vesda Xtralis OSI-10 Open-area Smoke Imaging Detector - 7 CoverageThe OSI-10 covers a distance of 30 - 150m with the OSE-SPW. This configuration is for a 1 on 1 system and is not suitable to work with high powered emitters. The company that revolutionized very early warning smoke detection with VESDA has reinvented smoke detection for open spaces with Open-area Smoke Imaging Detection OSID. OSID by Xtralis provides reliable cost-effective smoke detection for open spaces where fire detection presents unique challenges and where very early warning is not always the priority. In its simplest configuration OSID by Xtralis uses one imager a camera-like device with a wide field of view and a wired or battery-powered emitter roughly aligned on the opposite wall within the protected area. The emitter sends both infrared and ultraviolet coded light signals to the imager. If the light reception is altered due to the presence of genuine smoke particles the imager will go into alarm. The novel use of dual light frequencies in an open-path device enables OSID to discriminate between real smoke and other objects including insects steam condensation and dust thus drastically reducing false alarms.3D Volumetric CoverageA significant benefit of OSID is its ability to provide volumetric coverage. As many as seven emitters can be placed within the field of view of a single imager each placed at different heights. The OSID imagers large viewing angles both horizontal and vertical enable three-dimensional area coverage for design flexibility and additional deployment savings. Unlike other volumetric technologies OSID delivers absolute calibration for consistent detection performance regardless of lighting conditions smoke colour airflows or other environmental conditions.Key FeaturesOSIDs uncompromising performance is based on the patented use of digital imaging dual-frequency beams and smart algorithms deliveringPatented dual wavelength UV IR particle detectionCMOS Imager with wide viewing anglesSimple installation commissioning and maintenanceHigh tolerance to vibration and structural movementHightolerance to dust fogging steam reflections and object intrusionHigh resistance to reflected sunlightOn-board log memorySoftware tool for diagnostic purposesAesthetically discreet and 3D coverageLong range up to 150 m. 492 ft. with minimal free space 15 cm.5.85ApplicationsOSID is ideal for use in a wide range of industries and applications. These include atriums domes and large rooms inAirportsTrain stationsShopping centresStadiumsEducational facilitiesHotels convention centres and office buildingscomplexesEntertainment venuesWarehouses and production floorsThe OSI-10 Imager must be paired with either the OSE-SP-01 or OSE-SPW Standard Power Emitter. The OSI-10 can only support one emitter.

Vesda Xtralis REDFLEXI25B 25mm Flexible 1m Long Bend

Vesda Xtralis REDFLEXI25B 25mm Flexible 1m Long BendWith over 250000 aspirating smoke detectors installed worldwide the VESDA name has become synonymous with high quality and outstanding performance. An aspirating smoke detection system however only performs at its best with a well designed and installed quality pipework system. Xtralis manufacturer of VESDA detectors recognised this requirement and in 1997 launched its VESDA Pipe and Fittings range.Always use tools specifically designed forplastic pipe.Protective gloves are recommended for usewhen solvent cementing. If hands come into contact with cement use a waterless abrasive soap.Avoid sources of heat or open flames when solvent cementing. Do not smoke.Always chamfer and deburr pipe ends.Use the proper solvent cement note air shipments of solvent cement are forbidden by law.Always replace lids on cans when not in use.Never dilute solvent cement.Keep jointing surfaces dry in wet weather.Avoid direct inhalation of fumes. Use in a well-ventilated area.Wipe up spills or leaks immediately with clean lint free cloth or paper towels.Follow recommended cure times prior to testing the system.Prevent excessive solvent cement from running into the pipe or fitting socket. The Integrity of air sampling systems may be affected if proper CPVC solvent cement is not used. The Safety Crewdisclaims responsibility for any air sampling pipe system constructed with cements other than those recommended. Please note The PIP-021 is equivalent to the REDFLXI25B.

Vesda VHX-1420 Metal Box HLI Modbus Type 3

Vesda VHX-1420 Metal Box HLI Modbus Type 3The VESDA Modbus Type 3 High Level Interface HLI integrates VESDAnet network with host monitoring platforms such as Building Management Systems BMSs and Fire Alarm Control Panels FACPs. The Modbus Type 3 HLI acts as a proxy for all VESDA devices on the VESDAnet network providing access to the rich status information that is available from VESDA detectors as well as the ability to control and configure these devices. Alarms are reported to the host within a few seconds of a detector reaching an alarm condition.Exact performance is dependent on the polling strategy and size of the monitored network. The Modbus Type 3 HLI is able to support up to 100 VESDA detectors on a single VESDAnet network. The wall-mounted version is housed in a metal enclosure allowing for permanent mounting on a flat surface. With a built-in VESDAnet interface you dont need a remote VESDAnet socket module making the wall-mounted HLI a cost-effective solution to your interface requirements.Key FeaturesDirect access and monitoring of your entire VESDAnet systemSeamless data transferEasily configured using Xtralis configuring and monitoring software packagesProtocol SupportsVESDA VLP VLS VLC VLF VLI and VFT-15 detectorsVESDA-E VEP VEU and VEA detectorsAlarm StatusFault StatusSmoke LevelDetailed Fault InformationAlarm ThresholdsDetector Control including Reset Disable Silence Alarm Test and NormaliseOperational Status for processes such as Normalisation and AutoLearn
