The 6000 series heat detectors are intended for outdoor or indoor use in high humidity areas.All detectors are latching i.e. they will not be automatically reset if the temperature after the alarm falls below the detectors static response temperature. The detectors LED and a connected remote LED will be lit until the detector is reset via the C.I.E.The 6000 series detectors are conventional fixed temperature heat detectors i.e. they will give an alarm within a response temperature range in accordance with EN54-52000. The sensing element is a heat pick-up shield and a bimetal switch. An LED on the detector not available on the 6298 will light up when the detector activates. All detectors support an output for a remote indicator.All electronic components are mounted in a grey waterproof detector housing and fitted to the supplied connection box. The connection box has three cable inlets. Three compression glands and a silicon gasket for IP67 protection are supplied with the product. It also features a special base containing all wiring connections and allow for easy removalplacement of the sounder. To allow for even more flexibility the user can select between 64 tones and also have the option of a 3rd stage tone.The AS376 provide high sound output at a low current thus reducing power requirements and system cost. The AS376 sounder is supplied with a volume control as standard allowing final audio adjustments to be made during installation.With a choice of 64 different tones see tones table in manual which are switch selectable the required tone can be selected during installation.
