You can also choose to use the shiny fabric as a lining in your project; it adds a beautiful finish. And then, of course, you can use satin for clothing - for example, a nice satin shirt, a pair of cool satin trousers or maybe a jumpsuit with a drawstring waist. The fabric has a width of 135 cm and shrinks about 3% in the wash. It can be washed at 30°, always hang dry and iron at low heat. TIP: Use good quality fleece and interfacing to stabilise smaller parts like collars and cuffs. We recommend ironing it on before cutting out the pattern pieces - and remember to iron without steam (water can leave small stains and the high temperatures from the steam can change the surface of the fabric!) This is durable, soft and 100 % natural, high-quality thread made of Egyptian cotton, which you can use for hand-sewn and machine-sewn projects. The thread is mercerised – i.e. it has been pre-treated to strengthen the fibres. Mercerised thread is softer and glossier. For great results, use it in all your projects.
