Apollo Series 65 Diode Base 45681-201APO

Apollo Series 65 Diode Base 45681-201The Series 65 Diode Base is designed for use with conventional systems that have manual call points and detector bases on the same circuit. The base is fitted with a schottky diode on the L1 IN and L1 OUT wiring terminals. This base can only be used with compatible control equipment.OperationAll detectors in the Series 65 range fit into Series 60 standard mounting bases. The bases are of 100mm diameter and have five terminals marked according to their function Line 1 in line 1 out line 2 in and out remote indicator negative earth. Detectors are polarity insensitive so that identification of positive and negative lines is only required if a remote LED is fitted. An earth connection is not required for either safety or correct operation of detectors. The earth terminal is provided for tidy termination of earthed conductors or cable screens and to maintain earth continuity where necessary. Bases have a wide interior diameter for ease of access to cables and terminals and there are two slots for fixing screws at a spacing of 51 to 69mm. Detectors fit into bases one way only and require clockwise rotation without push force to be plugged in.Key FeaturesDetector locking mechanismOne way fitEasy to wireContains an earth connectorContinues to work during unauthorised removal of detectorsBrand FeaturesWide-operating voltage of 933 V DCWide-operating and storage temperature of -20C to 60CCan be used on security systemsElectrically and mechanically compatible with Series 60Proven detection performance

Ziton ZP7-SB1 Black Detector Base 84301BLK

Ziton ZP7-SB1 Black Detector Base 84301BLK

Ziton ZP7-SB1 Black Detector Base 84301BLKThe 84301BLK is a standard BLACK mounting base allowing any ZP700ZX800 series addressable detector to be removed or replaced without disconnecting loop wiring from detector terminals. The detectors plug into the base with a simple twist and lock action allowing quick and easy removal for cleaning and servicing or re-selection of the device type should the usage of the protected area change.Forming an integral part of the overall detector assembly this standard base is provided with slots for screw fixing direct to ceiling structures to auxiliary wiring plates or conduit boxes with screw fixing centres between 50 mm and 90 mm.Robust wiring terminalsThe base features robust wiring terminals with captive clamping washers to ensure secure wiring termination. They are of shallow design with ample space to accommodate cables of all types. Terminals are provided inside the moulding for loop connections and the termination of cable screening. Provision is also made for the connection of a remote LED when required.Automatic locking optionIn order to prevent unauthorised removal of a detector from its base an automatic locking breakout is incorporated into all detector mouldings. If the breakout is removed detectors can only be released from their bases by use of a special tool. The locking facility is an easily applied option often implemented on site at the system commissioning stage.Matching spaces for address labels are provided on detector and base mouldings ensuring that when removed they are replaced in the correct location. The address number facility also enables detectors to be easily identified when viewed from floor level.Key FeaturesCommon to all ZP7 series black detectorsAutomatic locking optionAddress identification labelEasy to install
