Stylish in Softshell Softshell is a hit for both adults and kids! It's stylish, practical, and comfortable to wear. Sew a simple vest with pockets, a jacket, a coat with a 2-way zip for cycling, or perhaps an all-in-one suit suitable for adventures in the woods and walks with the dog in the unpredictable Danish weather.   Softshell is designed to be both breathable and windproof. It consists of an outer material that is windproof and water-repellent, while the inside is soft and flexible. All in all, it's a combination that offers you great comfort and freedom of movement.  The quality is windproof and waterproof with a water column pressure of 5,000 mm and good breathability of 3,000 mm.  Softshell or Rainwear? In general, softshell is more breathable than traditional rainwear, making it more comfortable to wear when you're active.  Many wear softshell regardless of the weather: You're prepared for a rain shower, and at the same time, the soft inner layer keeps you comfortably warm.  About Water Column Pressure Water column pressure indicates how much water the material can withstand before it starts to penetrate. The higher the water column pressure, the more waterproof it is. A good rule of thumb is that +2,000 mm is suitable for light rain showers/short trips in the rain, while +5,000 is for a heavier rain shower or a couple of hours in light rain. If you're going to be out in heavy rain, we recommend +8,000 mm.  Some Practical Information This fabric consists of 95% polyester and 5% elastane.
