The fabric is 140 cm wide, and you buy it by the metre, so you get precisely the length you need. The fabric is suitable for extra gentle wash and shrinks about 3%.  What is Martindale? Martindale tells you about the fabric's wear resistance. Wash the wool at 30°, and expect it to shrink about 6% in the wash. Remember to use the right needles - we recommend that you use universal needles when sewing in this wool. And a little tip: You can advantageously increase the stitch length to get a nice finished look.
