Or perhaps a skirt that drapes beautifully and can be paired with solid-coloured tops? You can also go all in and design a jumpsuit or perhaps an entire matching outfit. It's up to you. A Comfortable MaterialThis fabric is made of viscose and elastane, so you get a soft material with good breathability and a comfortable stretch. The quality is robust and drapes nicely over the body. Some Practical InformationViscose has been used for clothing for over 100 years. The fabric is made of processed and regenerated cellulose from sources like wood pulp or cotton waste. It's similar to natural fibres like cotton and silk. Here, the viscose is blended with elastane, giving you a stretchable viscose. You choose the length you need for your sewing project. When working with jersey, we recommend using a jersey needle, which is characterised by having a medium point – also known as a ball point. The needle easily penetrates the knitted quality and prevents stitches and threads from running. For this type of jersey, we recommend jersey needles in size 80.

A bit about the practical This fabric consists of 92% organic cotton and 8% elastane; choose the length you need for your DIY project! When working with jersey, we recommend that you use a jersey needle, characterised by having a medium point – also known as ball point. The needle easily penetrates the knitted quality and prevents stitches and threads from running. For this type of jersey, we recommend jersey needles in size 70/80. Partly organic Products with this label have an organic content of at least 25%. This might be fabrics with organic cotton mixed with other fibres. We created this label so you can easily identify the proportion of organic content.

Wait at least 24 hours after ironing your print before washing the fabric. This gives the print time to properly adhere to the fabric. 2. Wash the fabric in cold or lukewarm water. Use a mild detergent without bleaches. 3. Avoid wringing the fabric, as it can damage the print. Instead, gently press out excess water. 4. Let the fabric air dry. Avoid using a tumble dryer, as the heat can damage the print. 5. Once the fabric is dry, you can iron it on the reverse side to remove any wrinkles. Use a low to medium heat setting. These guidelines will help to keep your print on the fabric in good condition, even after repeated washes. The perfect lino printing starter setWould you like to learn lino printing? Lino printing is a great creative pursuit for adults and kids alike. Lino printing keeps everyone happy for hours. With this starter kit, you have everything you need to get started – and it’s a great gift idea!Cute and handy 8-part setThis handy starter set contains:1 lino roller, rubber1 glass plate1 lino printing block (A6)1 wooden shaft3 lino cutting blades1 tube of lino printing ink (20 ml)You will also need: paper, PAP FAB or fabric to print on.How to make a lino print with this set: Draw your motif on the lino printing block. Use a soft pencil.Use the lino cutting tools to make contours. Hold the shaft of the lino cutting tool like a knife. Do not cut too deeply into the lino printing block. Work carefully to avoid injuries. Using the roller, roll lino printing ink onto the glass plate until the ink is evenly distributed. Use the roller to transfer the colour to your lino printing block.Lay the wet lino printing block onto a sheet of paper. (If you like, try this out on newspaper first). Be sure to use a paper format that is slightly larger than the lino printing block. Carefully turn the paper and the lino printing block over. Press with your hand. The harder the pressure, the better the result. To create pressure, you can also roll the lino roller backwards and forwards. NB: Clean the roller first.Gently peel the paper off, and leave to dry. Your motif is done. Clean your tools with water.NB: AllergyLino printing ink contains preservatives: 2-octyl-2H-isothiazol-3-one, 5-chloro-2-methyl-2H-isothiazol-3-one, and 2-methyl-2H-isothiazol-3-one. These substances can cause an allergic reaction.
