Gameplay The game tells the story of a twelve-year-old boy named Jerry Hazelnut (in the Polish version - Jerzyk Orzech, who dreams of learning the arcane of magic). At the end of the summer vacation, he meets the Marquis de Hoto, a wizard who agrees to accept Jerry as an apprentice. The Marquis is not an ordinary magician, however. De Hoto is a human-shaped white rabbit, the size of an adult male. What's more, he lives in the land of Mousewood (Polish Mysibór), where magic is both common and deadly. It quickly turns out that Jerry is no ordinary boy and was not chosen by chance. Instead, the boy is to play a key role in the battle against the forces of evil led by Great Zaroff, who want to tear the tapestry of reality to shreds. Before Jerry becomes the chosen one the world needs first he will have to face his greatest fear and learn the secrets of magic.
