Hypercharge: Unboxed is an FPS enriched with tower defense elements. The production was developed by the independent Digital Cybercherries studio.
In Hypercharge: Unboxed we play the role of a plastic toy soldier whose task is to defend the core (Hyper-Core) against a massive attack by opponents. There is a lot at stake because if this one is destroyed, all toys, comics and cartoons will be completely forgotten by people.
In Hypercharge: Unboxed we observe the action from the first person perspective (FPP). During the game, we fight fierce battles with opponents, and the battlefields are located in places such as the kitchen, guest room, bedroom or even the backyard. Before the battle begins, set up traps for opponents, barbed wire and automatic cannons, and build various fortifications. When the next waves of toy adversaries (among which there are other soldiers, air units or even a giant dinosaur) start to attack us, we have to defend ourselves at all costs, using an extensive arsenal of firearms and gadgets; besides, a power supply should be provided for our automated killing tools, as their batteries will run out over time. As we progress, we gain experience points and develop our character; in addition, we unlock skins, thanks to which we can modify the appearance of the hero and his weapons.
