Les patineurs (Die Schlittschuhläufer)
French composer Émile Waldteufel has written more than 250 dances, which were mostly waltzes. Among his well_x0002_known pieces are España or Estudiantina, and the then Prince of Wales and future King Edward VII was highly impressed byhis waltz Manolo so he arranged to make Waldteufel’s music better known in Britain. The best known of his waltzes is The Skaters, written in 1882, which is now available as an arrangement for piano trio
