Dodgeball Academia is a new production from the Pocket Trap studio, which has a dynamic fighting game called Ninjin: Clash of Carrots. In Dodgeball Academia, the creators focused on the adventure aspect and the division of the story into 8 chapters, during which we perform various tasks, take part in matches and help the hero find himself in the Dodgeball Academy to fulfill his dream of becoming the greatest dodgeball champion. The protagonist of the game is Otto, a young boy who has always dreamed of becoming the greatest champion of dodgeball. To this end, he goes to the Dodgeball Academy, where he learns new techniques and becomes better and better at it. Accompanying him every day, we discover the secrets of the old campus, meet a number of characters and participate in numerous matches where we can test our skills. Dodgeball Academia consists of eight chapters. During each of them, we explore the vast areas of the campus and gradually discover the secret hidden within its walls, as well as get to know the characters for whom we perform a number of tasks, both main and side. The game puts a lot of emphasis on RPG and arcade elements, so in the characters we know we can find rivals with whom we will be able to face on the pitch, but also friends who will join our future dodgeball team. And it is of great importance for the production, because there are quite a lot of skirmishes on the pitch here, and we face both regular teams and bosses here in the form of highly recognized and popular players or teams. The battles themselves are dexterity and require us to accurately throw the ball at our opponents and avoid them when we are under attack. Players have a certain amount of health points, which decreases when hitting the ball accurately, but also unique skills that allow them to perform special moves: heal team members, bomb the opponent with balls or perform an area attack.
