Nux Masamune är en kombinerad booster- och kompressorpedal för elgitarr. Booster- och kompressorpedaler köps ofta och används tillsammans och sitter vanligtvis bredvid varandra på en pedalbräda. Det är därför både praktiskt och ekonomiskt att placera dessa två effekter i en och samma pedal. Masume har två separata omkopplare där du kan slå på och av effekterna individuellt, och effekterna har också var sin uppsättning kontroller. Boost har Boost Level, Drive och Hi-Cut, medan Compressor har Comp Level, Sustain, Blend och Clip kontroller. Boostern formar din signal genom att lägga till mer förstärkning utan att ändra din grundton och förbättrar därmed ditt ljud innan du skickar signalen vidare till en förstärkare eller resten av dina pedaler. Boostern låter dig också klippa diskanten efter att du har justerat boost och körning med Hi-Cut Toggle Switch. Sustain-kontrollen justerar kompressionsförhållandet och ökar sustainen av din gitarrton. Ride

Renowned Belgian composer Kevin Houben composed “Ride” for the “Fanfare ‘Bereden Wapens’“. This orchestra originated after drastic reorganisations and cutbacks within Defense in 2011 and 2012, including in the military music armed forces. The thought behind the composition “Ride” is the signal “forward”. The signal “Forward” is part of a military memorial ceremony, as the sign to close off a sad or dark period, and to go on with renewed force. “Ride” is also a command for horses to go forward. Appropriate, as the “Fanfare ‘Bereden Wapens’”, part of the regiment Huzaren van Boreel, is part of the Cavalry. When the Fanfarekorps Koninklijke Landmacht ‘Bereden Wapens’ was abrogated, this was an extremely sad and radical moment for the orchestra members. The “Fanfare ‘Bereden Wapens’“ announces the dawn of a new period and picks up again with an effervescent and splashing composition: “Ride”.

This piece is about the resurrection of these bands following a political decision in favour of the renowned military music organization structure in Austria. The Rise of the Phoenix is an impressive piece, full of bright, colourful melodies and an incredible positive ambiance. There is a beautiful slow middle section with a touch of romance, leading to a spectacular 'maestoso' finale in which you can hear a hint of a famous military signal (as also used in Von Suppé’s 'Light Cavalry Overture'). Valdres is a mountain region that lies between Oslo and Bergen. Johannes Hanssen (1874-1967) composed the march for the Valdres Battalion between 1901 and 1904, using the Battalions horn-signal combined with a traditional style folk-tune. The march has been named “one of the greatest marches in the world” on many occasions, and it is a firm favourite with it’s national flavor and unusual style. This version is similar to Johannes Hanssens revised version for Wind Band from 1954. However, it is interesting to notice that in Hanssens very first version of the march half a century earlier, the first theme was played by the Eb-Cornet, just like in this arrangement for brassband.
